About Inverloch Surf Life Saving Club
We are a proud, volunteer-run surf life saving club based in Inverloch, Victoria — a tight-knit community dedicated to keeping our beach safe for everyone who loves it.
Our Story
Founded in 1998, the Inverloch Surf Life Saving Club (ISLSC) has been a cornerstone of the Inverloch community for over 25 years. What started as a small group of passionate locals has grown into a thriving club of dedicated volunteers who give their time, energy, and expertise to protect beachgoers along our beautiful stretch of coastline.
From our earliest days, the spirit of the club has always been the same: neighbours looking out for neighbours, and a shared love of the ocean and the community that surrounds it.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple — to provide a safe beach environment for everyone. Our volunteer patrol members are trained in surf rescue, first aid, and emergency response, and they show up every patrol season to do just that. No fanfare, no payment — just a genuine commitment to keeping our community safe.
Nippers & the Next Generation
The ISLSC Nippers program is where the next generation of surf lifesavers begins. Kids learn water safety, surf skills, and the values of teamwork and community — all while having a great time on the beach. It's one of the most rewarding parts of what we do, and we're proud to be shaping the future of surf life saving in Inverloch.
How Your Purchase Helps
When you buy ISLSC merchandise, you're doing more than picking up a great piece of kit — you're directly supporting our club and everything it stands for. Every purchase helps fund our patrols, training programs, equipment, and community events. It's a small way to be part of something much bigger.
Wear it proudly. You're part of the ISLSC family.
